Stanley, pastor of the 1st Baptist Church of Atlanta puts it this way; "we are strongest and tallest when we are on our knees." And God's people said AMEN! He might continuously be addressing key concerns in your life and also bringing about new and better pathways for you to find and follow through with. Regardless of how you feel about yourself right now, begin to proclaim love within yourself. Loving yourself means love without any conditions, without any limits. Say to yourself, "YES, I Love myself and God loves me dearly. I am a Child of God and I am full of Love". He goes on to say; "For if you forgive men for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. "But if you do not forgive men, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. The fact is that in order to be able to love anybody else or anything else with all our hearts, the love has to start from ourselves, from deep within. Our prayers need to clearly express to God the things that we want. The Bible tells us that God searches our hearts, but it also tells us to "present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6). And in James 1:5-8 we read that a person who doubts is like a wave of the sea, tossed about by every wind. That person cannot expect to receive anything from God because he is double-minded. |
